Configure your professional profile, drafting preferences, and AI writing profile to personalize how Irys works for you.

Account Settings let you tailor Irys One to your professional identity and working style. Open Settings from the left sidebar to access four tabs.

Professional Info

Fill in your core professional details so the AI can personalize its responses and document output.

Field	Description
Full name	Your display name across the platform.
Firm / Organization	The firm or company you are associated with.
Bar ID	Your state bar number for citation and filing context.
Role	Your role within the organization (e.g., Partner, Associate, Paralegal).
Phone numbers	Primary and secondary contact numbers.
Address	Your professional mailing address.

Practice Areas & Jurisdictions

Select the practice areas and jurisdictions you work in most often. The AI uses this information to tailor research results, suggest relevant authorities, and set default jurisdiction context for new matters.

Drafting Style

Fine-tune how the AI writes for you using three slider controls:

Slider	Range	What it controls
Formality	0 -- 100%	Casual language vs. formal legal prose.
Risk Tolerance	0 -- 100%	Conservative protective language vs. balanced commercial tone.
Detail Level	0 -- 100%	Concise summaries vs. comprehensive, clause-by-clause detail.

Adjust these sliders at any time. Changes take effect immediately in the AI Assistant and Drafting Assistant.

AI Profile

Upload samples of your own work product — briefs, memos, contracts — and Irys will analyze them to generate a writing style profile. Once generated, the AI mirrors your tone, structure, and word choices so its output sounds like you wrote it.

Your AI Profile is private to your account. Uploaded work products are used solely for style analysis and are never shared with other users or used to train models.

Interface preferences

Customize display settings such as theme (light or dark mode), default model selection (Irys Everyday or Irys Advanced), and notification preferences.
