Navigating the Platform

Learn your way around the Irys One interface, from the Dashboard to the command palette.

Irys One is organized around a central Dashboard with contextual panels that keep your most important tools and information within reach.

Dashboard (Command Center)

The Dashboard is your home screen after logging in. It serves as a command center with quick-access panels:

  • Recent Activity -- A chronological feed showing your latest document uploads, AI conversations, and Matter updates.

  • Pinned Matters -- Matters you have starred for quick access appear here for one-click navigation.

  • Pending Tasks -- Any open action items, review requests, or follow-ups surface in this panel.

The Dashboard refreshes in real time so you always see the current state of your work.

The left sidebar is your primary navigation rail. It contains two main sections:

Practice Tools

Access the full suite of Irys One tools from this section. Tools are grouped by workflow -- research, drafting, document analysis, and more. Click any tool to open it in the main workspace area.

Chat History

Below Practice Tools, the Chat History section stores all of your past AI Assistant conversations. It is organized with three tabs:

  • All -- Every conversation in reverse chronological order.

  • Pinned -- Conversations you have pinned for easy retrieval.

  • Matters -- Conversations grouped by the Matter they are associated with, letting you quickly find context-specific threads.

You can pin a conversation by clicking the pin icon next to its title in the chat list. Pinned conversations appear in both the Pinned tab and the Dashboard.

My Desk (Right Panel)

The right side of the interface houses My Desk, a contextual panel that adapts based on what you are working on. When viewing a Matter, My Desk shows related documents, recent conversations, and key dates. When using a Practice Tool, it displays relevant settings and output history.

My Desk can be collapsed to maximize workspace area by clicking the collapse arrow at the top of the panel.

Workspace Switcher

If you belong to multiple organizations or teams, use the Workspace Switcher in the top-left corner of the sidebar to move between workspaces. Each workspace maintains its own set of Matters, documents, and AI history.

Command Palette (Cmd+K)

Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) from anywhere in the platform to open the global command palette. From here you can:

  • Search across Matters, documents, conversations, and Practice Tools by keyword.

  • Navigate directly to any page or tool by typing its name.

  • Run actions such as creating a new Matter, starting a new conversation, or opening Settings.

The command palette supports fuzzy matching, so you do not need to type exact names. For example, typing "corp ma" will surface a Matter named "Acme Corp M&A Due Diligence."
