Install the Irys AI add-in for Microsoft Word from the Office add-in store.

Prerequisites

Installing the add-in

Open Microsoft Word

Launch Word and open any document, or create a new blank document.

Open the add-in store

Go to Home > Add-ins (or Insert > Get Add-ins depending on your Word version). The Microsoft Office Add-in Store dialog will open.

Search for Irys

Type Irys in the search bar and press Enter. Select the Irys AI add-in from the results.

Install

Click Add to install the add-in. Word will download and enable it automatically.

Sign in

Click the Irys icon in the Word ribbon or sidebar. Sign in with the same email and password you use at core.iqidis.aiarrow-up-right. If your organization uses SSO, you will be redirected to your identity provider.

Accessing the sidebar

After installation, open the Irys sidebar at any time by clicking the Irys icon in the Word ribbon. The sidebar provides access to the AI Assistant, research tools, and cite-checking features.

Troubleshooting

Issue
Solution

Add-in does not appear in the store

Confirm your Microsoft 365 subscription supports add-ins. Contact your IT administrator if add-in installation is restricted by policy.

Sign-in fails

Verify your credentials at core.iqidis.aiarrow-up-right first. If your organization enforces SSO, ensure you are on the corporate network or VPN.

Sidebar is blank

Close and reopen the sidebar. If the issue persists, restart Word.
