Capture rich text notes with tables, task lists, priority badges, and cross-references to Matters and Chats.
The Notes tab in My Desk gives you a dedicated notepad that lives alongside the AI Assistant. Capture ideas, draft outlines, build checklists, or store reference material — all without leaving your conversation.
Notes support a full set of formatting options:
Text formatting — bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, headings.
Tables — add structured data, comparison charts, or simple grids.
Task lists — create checkbox-based to-do lists to track action items.
Code blocks — store code snippets, API references, or structured data.
Tag any note with a priority badge to surface what matters most. Badges provide a visual indicator when scanning your notes list so urgent items stand out immediately.
Link a note to a specific Matter or Chat to keep context connected. When you revisit that Matter or Chat later, the linked notes are easy to find, giving you a continuous thread of your thinking across sessions.
Search
Use the search bar at the top of the Notes tab to find notes by keyword.
Filter
Filter notes by priority badge, linked Matter, or date range.
Sort
Sort by date created, date modified, or priority.
Pin
Pin important notes to the top of the list for quick access.
Archive
Archive notes you no longer need in your active list. Archived notes remain searchable.
Tip: Pin your most-used reference notes — such as standard clause language or jurisdiction checklists — so they are always at the top of your Notes tab.
